National Aluminum Products Co. SAOG based in Muscat, is one of the fastest growing and leading aluminium extrusion companies in the Middle East with an annual production capacity in excess of 36,000 MT urgently require candidate for the following position:

Job Details:

• Title: Accountant
• Nationality: Omani
• Employment: Full Time
• Location: Oman – Muscat (Al Rusayl)
• Industry: Aluminum Extrusion

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Tracking & Recording:

1. Monitor and record revenue transactions accurately.
2. Ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with IAS, IFRS and company policies.
3. Reconcile revenue accounts and resolve discrepancies.
4. Assisting Credit Controller of Follow up Collection.
5. Assisting Credit Controller in Credit Insurance related matter.

 

• Financial Reporting:

1. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
3. Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation.

 

• Compliance & Controls:

1. Ensure compliance with accounting standards
2. Implement and maintain internal controls over revenue processes.

 

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

1. Work with sales, marketing, legal, and operations to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
2. Resolve billing disputes and credit issues.

 

• Process Improvement:

1. Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures.
2. Participate in system upgrades and automation initiatives.

 
Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. (ACCA, CMA, ACA or equivalent certification preferred).
2. Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on revenue.
3. Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles.
4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks) and Excel.
5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
6. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
7. Arabic /English Speaking, writing, and reading.
